Ms. Jilian
Director - Presitge
Jilian Fuller is from the North Port area and is a proud graduate of Pine View School class of 2020. She is currently studying at Florida Gulf Coast University for her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has been dancing for 16 years. She has competed in the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant twice and has had the opportunity to be on the FGCU Dancing E’Gals team, where she was Rookie of the Year in 2020. She has competed on the Elite ‘Prestige’ team for 5 years and has performed at Disney Springs and Universal Studios. She is excited to join the Elite faculty and continue to share her passion for dance!
Ms. Megan
Hip-Hop, E-Crew
Megan Collins was born and raised right here in Port Charlotte and has been dancing since the young age of 4 years old. She received training in multiple genres including tap, jazz, musical theater, and her favorite; hip hop. She is a class of 2013 Port Charlotte High School graduate and attended Southwest Florida College where she received a certificate in Medical Assisting, which she utilized today working alongside physicians in a doctor's office. Her goal as a hip-hop instructor is to bring her dancers out of their shell and to turn them into the best most confident dancers they can be.
Ms. Britt
Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theater, Tots, Tap, Mommy & Me
Brittany Davidson, or Miss Britt as she is known at Elite, has been dancing since she was five years old and teaching since she was 18. She has a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Arts Integration from the University of South Florida. Outside of dance, Miss Brit runs a homeschool co-op in Port Charlotte where she teaches Art to elementary and middle school students. She is married to her college sweetheart and they have 3 children: Kayden, Madi, and Everlee. Out of all the types of dance that Miss Britt teaches she loves Musical Theater the most!
Ms. Brittney
Jazz, Contemporary, Prestige
Brittney Janosik is a Port Charlotte native and proud graduate of Port Charlotte High School (Class of 2005) and the University of Central Florida (Class of 2008). With more than 30 years of dance training and over a decade of teaching experience, she brings both technical expertise and a deep passion for movement to every class. Brittney has trained and performed with renowned institutions such as University of Central Florida, NYC’s Broadway Dance Center, and Santa Fe Community College. Her performance credits include the S.E.E.D and Moscow productions of the Nutcracker, the Orange Bowl Halftime Show, Santa Fe Summer Dance Institute, Orlando Surf Expo, Street Stylez Convention, and the UCF Dance Concert - where she contributed both as a student choreographer and returning alumni. Brittney looks forward to sharing her love of contemporary artistry with the next generation of performers.
Ms. Stephanie
Jazz, Ballet
Stephanie Goerl is a native of Charlotte County and a graduate of Port Charlotte High School. After graduation Stephanie moved to the Tampa area and studied dance at Hillsborough Community College focusing on ballet and modern. While attending school, she worked as the head dance instructor for Mosaic Dance Studio in Brandon and developed their ballet, tap and lyrical curriculum. In late 2004, Stephanie partnered up with Extreme Youth Sports and became their dance director. She developed classes for ages 2 and up to teach in local venues all around Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas Counties. Shortly after she opened “To the Point Academy of Dance” in Carollwood with Extreme’s director. A few years later Charlotte County called Stephanie and her husband back to follow his dream of being a police officer and becoming parents to their daughter Rebekah and son Alex. Shortly thereafter, Stephanie received her Bachelors degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. For the last 13 years Stephanie has taught locally at area studios and gyms teaching ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, Zumba and barre.
Ms. Keri
Jazz, Ballet
Keri Sheets-Osterbur started dancing alongside her twin sister in a small town in Ringwood, IL. She trained in ballet, jazz and tap and went on to graduate from Columbia College in Chicago with a BA in Sports and Performing Arts Management with a minor in dance. While at Columbia College Chicago, Kerri performed works by Margie Cole, Jan Eckert, Emily Stein, Krenley Guzman and others in the Chicago-land area. Through encouragement she reminds her students of their capabilities and focuses on their individual potential. Outside the studio, she works for Ameriprise Financial, loves classic cars and spending time with her family.
Ms. Sheli
Ballet, Pointe
Sheli Thompson-Gauthier was an instructor at Pine Island Dance for 25 years, owning the studio for seven of those years. Since 1997 she has studied and taught the Cecchetti Method of Ballet under the coaching of Pirkko Lawlor of the Ballet Conservatory in Winter Haven. She holder her Elementary Professional Level Teaching Certificate. Sheli continues to teach students and teachers at her home studio and especially loves sharing the Cecchetti method with the lovely students of Elite Fine Arts Academy. She also holds a B.S. in Religion and an M.A. in Theology from Liberty University. When she isn’t teaching ballet, you can find her custom-painting interiors, exteriors, and murals on Pine Island.
Ms. Bekah
Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Prestige
Bekah was born and raised in Port Charlote. She graduated at 18 with an associate’s degree from the State College of Florida Collegiate School in Venice and is currently working as a health and life insurance agent. She has danced for 16 years, with 5 of them at Elite, and has competed for 14 years. Bekah trained for a year at a pre professional ballet school in Sarasota called the International Ballet of Florida. During the years she has trained in all types of dance including Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theater. Bekah has won multiple scholarships from various competitions and conventions.
Ms. Angenetta
Hip-Hop, E-Crew
Angenetta Betts started her dancing career at the young age of 3. She has danced at many studios in Charlotte County and spent her last 5 years at Elite Fine Arts Academy. During her last 2 years at Elite, she was a class assistant and a student teacher. Angenetta has been on many dance companies for a number of years and a competition team for 1 year. Throughout her years she has been able to perform at venues like Universal Studios, Disney World, and various other places.
Ms. Ana
Ballet, Pointe
Ana Ortega is an active dancer and graduate student from cape coral Florida. She began her training Cecchetti Method of Ballet under Sheli Thompson Gauthier. She recently completed her grade six teacher certification under CCA and is working on her first professional teaching exam. She has been the CCA Floria committee’s secretary for the past four years and continues to work closely with the organization.
Ms. Dani
Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Prestige
Dani started her love of the performing arts at the age of 5 and has been working as a choreographer and instructor for over 25 years. She has trained as well as performed with Michelles Rhinebeck Dance Center, Tommy Sternfeld Dance, New York Conservatory for the Arts and many others. Dani has been teaching multiple genres of dance at Elite since 2017. Elite is Dani’s home away from home and she cannot wait to see you in class!
Ms. Kaitlyn
Latin, Hip-Hop, Prestige
Kaitlyn has been dancing since she was 4 years old and was born and raised in SWFL. She spent 14 years as an Elite student and now continues to teach here at her home studio. Kaitlyn has been trained in many styles and has performed at Disney Springs and Universal. She also competed for 7 years. She is a class of 2024 graduate from Lemon Bay High School and ius currently studying Radiologic Technology.
Ms. Alexia
Circus, Hip-Hop, Prestige
Alexia has been dancing for around 17 years; she has been at Elite since she was 7. She has trained in all dance styles and competed with Elite for two years. She has been teaching at her home studio for the past three years and has been a part of the choreography team for our award-winning competitive Hip-Hop teams for the past 2.
